
About Walter Collins

Walter graduated from the University of Calgary, Alberta in 1974 with a B.S.W. (Bachelor of Social Work) degree. For more than 20 years, he has worked in the alcohol and drug counseling field, both in the Canadian Military and in private practice.
From 1977 to 1989 he held the position of Program Director of the Shuswap Alcohol & Drug Outpatient Program in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada.
In 1989 he moved to the United States and currently resides in southern California and his second home in Vancouver, Canada.
Walter is the webmaster for Alahoy Books, a non-profit and personal web site.
Walter uses the pen name Yashah in his writings and he has written and self-published more than 30 books.
In 1986 and 1987 while travelling throughout North America, Walter wrote the book, "33 Days of Living the Secret".
In 1987 while spending one week at Mt Shasta, California, he wrote the book,The Harmonic Convergence (1987) 7 Days at Mt Shasta!
